Nylon PA12 CBF

CFC

PA12 CBF is a co-extruded material consisting of nylon PA12 with a composite of nylon and continuous basalt fibers. This unique combination gives the finished part a smooth surface along with strength, toughness, and durability.

About

Printed with a new co-extrusion technology, PA CBF results in a strong, lightweight print. The print can be used in high demand applications and can replace metals in some cases. Smoothed nylon PA12 is used to print the surface perimeter of the part to give it a smooth texture while nylon PA12 reinforced with continuous basalt fiber is printed inside the part as another layer of perimeter and infill. The perimeter layers, infill pattern, and density, can be customized as per the requirements of the end part. A standard print will consist of four plastic perimeter layers followed by two composite perimeter layers and the infill percentage of your choosing (in the next step) with an Isogrid pattern. To customize these settings, feel free to add your requirements in the production note and we'll get back to you.
