Transparent Resin
Transparent resin is a clear photopolymer that is capable of true glass-like optical clarity. It's an ideal choice for parts where you need to see clearly through the material.

Transparent resin is formulated to be optically clear, but achieving true glass-like transparency typically requires sanding, polishing, or a clear coating beyond the as-printed state. Without this finishing work, layer lines scatter light and give parts a frosted appearance similar to translucent resin.
Some clear resins are also prone to yellowing with prolonged UV or sunlight exposure. This makes transparent resin the right choice when a part needs to be seen through clearly, while translucent resin is the better fit when soft light diffusion is the actual goal, or when the extra finishing work isn't worth it for the application.
Transparent resin suits optical components, internal mechanisms and fluid channels that need visual inspection, and prototypes simulating glass or clear plastic parts.
