Spectroplast® TrueSil

SAM

TrueSil is a 3D-printable pure silicone offering high flexibility, biocompatibility, and durability. Ideal for seals, wearables, and medical parts, it resists heat, UV, and repeated deformation.

About

Spectroplast TrueSil is an industrial-grade, 3D-printable LSR (liquid silicone rubber) known for its exceptional flexibility, biocompatibility, and long-term durability. Unlike thermoplastic elastomers (TPE or TPU), TrueSil elastomers are made of 100% pure silicone and fulfill market standards in terms of performance and surface quality. They maintain stable mechanical properties across a wide temperature range from -50 °C to +200 °C. The material provides excellent elongation at break, rebound elasticity, and resistance to UV, ozone, and aging.
TrueSil is certified for skin and food contact applications (ISO 10993 and USP Class VI), making it suitable for both medical and consumer-grade products. It's frequently used for seals, gaskets, cushioning components, wearable devices, prosthetics, and other parts requiring soft-touch functionality and repeated deformation.
