SLS PEKK-CF

SLS PEKK-CF is a carbon-fiber-reinforced PEKK that is very stiff and holds its shape under load up to roughly 200 °C. It is a good option for rigid high-temperature parts, though it is brittle and weaker across the layers.

About

SLS PEKK-CF is PEKK (polyetherketoneketone) reinforced with carbon fiber. The fiber makes it roughly 60% stiffer than unfilled laser-sintered PEKK, with modest strength gains, and heat deflection reaches about 200 °C under load and 275 °C under light load. It has good chemical resistance.

Elongation is only about 1%, so parts are rigid and brittle, and strength is lower across the layers.

SLS PEKK-CF is well suited to rigid, heat-exposed components for aerospace and mobility applications.
