SLS PEEK produces exceptionally strong, lightweight parts with outstanding heat resistance, chemical stability, and dimensional accuracy. It delivers near-thermoplastic-molded properties, ideal for aerospace, medical, and industrial applications.
SLS PEEK (polyether ether ketone) is an ultra-high-performance thermoplastic used to manufacture parts that require exceptional mechanical strength, thermal stability, and chemical resistance. When processed via Selective Laser Sintering (SLS), PEEK yields high-density, precision components with properties comparable to injection-molded PEEK, enabling true end-use manufacturing for critical engineering applications.
As printed, SLS PEEK parts exhibit a light tan to beige matte finish with the fine micro-granular texture characteristic of high-temperature sintering. The material’s inherent stability ensures excellent dimensional accuracy, low creep, and reliable performance under continuous loads. With a heat deflection temperature above 250 °C, superior fatigue resistance, and full chemical inertness, SLS PEEK excels in environments where ordinary polymers fail.
SLS PEEK is widely used for aerospace components, medical instruments, high-temperature housings, bushings, gears, brackets, manifolds, and components exposed to solvents or aggressive chemicals. Its combination of strength-to-weight ratio, biocompatibility (for certain grades), and long-term reliability makes it one of the most capable polymers available for additive manufacturing.
