About
Nylon PA11 is a bio-based polyamide made from castor oil, valued for its ductility and impact resistance. It stretches roughly 30–45% before breaking and stays tough across a wide temperature range, including in the cold. Under load it softens at lower temperatures than PA12 (roughly 50–70 °C).
Nylon PA11 is a good option for snap-fits, living hinges, impact-absorbing parts, and wearable or orthotic components.
