Material

MJF Glass-Filled Nylon PA12

MJF glass-filled nylon PA12 is a stiff PA12 with the same properties in every direction and higher heat deflection under load than standard nylon. It is a good choice for rigid functional parts.

About

MJF glass-filled nylon PA12 is standard PA12 with 40% glass beads.

The glass makes it about 1.6 times stiffer than unfilled PA12 and raises heat deflection under load to about 121 °C (from roughly 95–106 °C), with properties nearly identical in every direction. The stiffness comes at a cost of reduced strength, elongation, and impact strength, so thin walls and fine features are more fragile.

MJF glass-filled nylon PA12 is a good option for rigid enclosures, housings, fixtures, and tooling.
