LithaBone TCP 300

LCM

LithaBone TCP 300 contains a beta-tricalcium phosphate (ß-TCP) based ceramic which in the right setting, enables implants with defined pore geometries. The material can be resorbed by the body and replaced by new bone.

About

Tricalcium phosphate (TCP) exhibits excellent biocompatibility, bioresorbability, and osteoconductivity, and is therefore a well-established material for bone replacement in regenerative medicine. ASTM F1088-04a certified (suitable for human implants) TCP powder is used in LithaBone TCP 300, which helps in validating medical products in the best way possible. The material is best used as biological scaffolds, bone substitute implants, and similar applications. The material is non-cytotoxic according to ISO 10993-5 and not irritating to skin as per ISO 10993-10. Certifications available upon request.
