Food Safe SLS Nylon PA12

About

SLS food safe nylon PA12 is PA12 made from a powder grade certified for food contact, for example under EU 10/2011 or FDA 21 CFR rules. It keeps PA12’s balance of strength and flexibility, low water absorption, and resistance to oils, fats, and cleaning agents, but softens under load at roughly 60–90 °C depending on the powder.

The certification covers the material, not automatically every finished part: surface, colorants, temperature, fat content, and contact time all matter.

SLS food safe nylon PA12 is commonly used for grippers, production-line tooling, and kitchen tools.
