Flame retardant SLS nylon PA12 is PA12 with a flame-retardant additive.
Fire ratings such as UL 94 V-0 and aircraft flammability tests (FAR 25.853) depend on the powder and wall thickness (V-0 needs about 3 mm for one common powder), so thin sections may not qualify.
The additive makes it stiffer than standard PA12 but less ductile, and it softens under load at about 85-95 °C.
Flame retardant SLS nylon PA12 is commonly used for electrical housings, ventilation ducts, and aircraft or railway interior parts.
