Polycarbonate

CNC

Polycarbonate (PC) is a tough, transparent thermoplastic ideal for impact-resistant parts like lenses, covers, and housings in automotive, electronics, and protective applications.

About

Polycarbonate (PC) is a high-strength, impact-resistant thermoplastic known for its clarity, toughness, and dimensional stability. It offers excellent mechanical performance, making it ideal for transparent, durable parts. Polycarbonate is highly used in optical lenses, automotive parts, electrical housings, and protective covers due to its excellent wear resistance, high-impact strength, and thermal stability. It’s also often chosen for applications requiring good transparency, such as light diffusers and transparent windows in harsh environments. While PC can be CNC machined with good precision, it can also be molded and extruded, making it a versatile choice for both prototypes and end-use parts.
