About

CNC machined ULTEM 2300 is a high-performance engineering plastic made from polyetherimide (PEI) reinforced with 30% glass fiber, providing exceptional strength, stiffness, and dimensional stability. This material is designed for demanding applications requiring reliable mechanical performance, heat resistance, and long-term durability.

ULTEM 2300 offers excellent thermal resistance, maintaining mechanical integrity at elevated temperatures and performing reliably in continuous-use environments up to approximately 170 °C. It also provides excellent flame resistance and low smoke emission, making it suitable for safety-critical applications.

In addition, the material offers excellent resistance to creep, deformation, and many industrial chemicals, while maintaining stable electrical insulation properties. Its dimensional stability and low thermal expansion allow precise tolerances to be maintained even under mechanical and thermal stress.
