About

2.4856 (Alloy 625 or Inconel 625) is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum-niobium alloy that gets its strength from solid-solution hardening, not heat treatment, and combines it with excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, seawater, mineral acids, and chloride stress corrosion cracking.

It stays strong and ductile from cryogenic temperatures to about 980 °C and is non-magnetic.

Nickel Alloy 2.4856 is a strong choice for marine, chemical-processing, oil-and-gas, and aerospace components.
