About

2.4610 (Alloy C-4 or Hastelloy C-4) is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy (about 16% each) with a small titanium addition. It has very good general corrosion resistance, high resistance to pitting, and very good resistance to hydrochloric acid, and stays ductile and corrosion resistant after long exposure at 650-1,040 °C and in weld heat-affected zones.

Like other nickel alloys it work-hardens, so machining is demanding.

Nickel-Iron Alloy 2.4610 is a good option for chemical-process equipment and welded assemblies that see prolonged heat.
