About

Delrin® is a homopolymer acetal that provides significantly higher tensile strength and stiffness than copolymer acetal (POM-C). It excels in applications requiring high fatigue resistance and impact strength, even at low temperatures. While it shares the low-friction and moisture-resistant qualities of POM-C, its tighter crystalline structure makes it harder and more resistant to creep under long-term loads. However, users should note its susceptibility to centerline porosity in thick sections and lower resistance to strong bases compared to copolymers. It is ideal for high-performance automotive and industrial components.
