About

Delrin® AF (Acetate Fiber) is a specialized PTFE-filled homopolymer acetal designed for high-wear applications. By integrating PTFE fibers into the Delrin matrix, this material offers a lower coefficient of friction and improved wear resistance over standard Delrin, while maintaining excellent strength, toughness, and dimensional stability.

It is specifically engineered for parts moving at high speeds or requiring a "slip-stick" free operation without the need for external lubricants. Common use cases include high-performance bushings, thrust washers, seals, and specialized sliding bearings in demanding industrial environments.
