About

C70600 (90/10 cupronickel, CW352H) is about 90% copper and 10% nickel, with iron and manganese additions that give it excellent resistance to seawater corrosion and biofouling, and unlike stainless steel it isn't limited by chloride stress corrosion cracking.

It is the lower-cost, lower-strength of the two common cupronickels, since C71500 is stronger and tolerates faster seawater flow.

Copper Nickel C70600 is commonly used for seawater valves and pumps, fittings, and heat-exchanger and condenser components.
