About

C18000 achieves strength and conductivity through nickel, silicon, and chromium precipitation hardening rather than beryllium, which makes it a genuine beryllium-free substitute for C17510 in many applications.

It offers good tensile strength (around 586 MPa) with moderate electrical conductivity (38-45% IACS) and good wear resistance at elevated temperatures.

Copper C18000 is suited to welding electrode holders, mold components for plastic injection and blow molding, studs, and spot/seam welding equipment for high-resistance alloys like stainless steel.
