About

CNC machined acetal (POM-C) is a versatile engineering thermoplastic favored for its superior balance of strength, stiffness, and tribological properties. As a copolymer, it provides better thermal stability and chemical resistance than its homopolymer (Delrin) counterparts, specifically resisting centerline porosity. Its naturally low coefficient of friction and high wear resistance make it excellent for moving mechanical assemblies. With near-zero moisture absorption, it maintains tight tolerances in humid environments. Common use cases include gears, valves, and food-processing components.
