17-4 PH Stainless Steel

CNC

Stainless steel 17-4 PH is a strong, corrosion-resistant alloy ideal for high-stress parts. It’s used in aerospace, medical, and tooling applications, and can be heat-treated for added hardness.

About

Stainless Steel 17-4 PH is a high-strength, precipitation-hardened alloy that combines excellent mechanical properties with good corrosion resistance. It is significantly stronger than standard stainless steels like 304, making it ideal for applications where high strength, wear resistance, and dimensional stability are critical. This material performs well in demanding environments, including those with moderate heat, moisture, and stress.
Stainless Steel 17-4 PH is commonly used in aerospace, defense, medical, and industrial tooling applications for components such as shafts, fixtures, housings, and structural parts. It machines well in its solution-annealed state and can be heat-treated to achieve higher hardness levels.
