Castable Wax Resin

Castable wax resin blends real wax into a photopolymer base, combining standard resin printer compatibility with burnout behavior closer to pure wax than standard castable resin achieves.

About

Castable wax resin is a hybrid material that blends a significant proportion of actual wax – commonly ranging from around 20% up to 60–80% by weight – into a photopolymer resin base. This gives it burnout behavior notably closer to pure castable wax than standard plastic-based castable resin can achieve, while still printing on standard SLA or DLP resin printers rather than requiring specialized wax-jetting equipment.

Higher wax content generally produces cleaner burnout and less ash, though it can also reduce the model's strength and rigidity before casting.

Castable wax resin suits fine jewelry, delicate filigree, and detailed lattice structures where clean burnout matters but specialized wax-printing equipment isn't required.
