Material

Carbon Fiber PPS

PPS-CF is a carbon-fiber-reinforced high-temp filament. It offers metal-like stiffness, exceptional chemical resistance, and is inherently flame-retardant (UL94 V-0), making it ideal for engine components and industrial tooling.

About

PPS-CF for FDM 3D printing is a specialized composite engineered for the most demanding environments. The addition of carbon fiber to the semi-crystalline PPS base significantly increases tensile strength and stiffness while reducing the material's natural tendency to warp during printing. It maintains mechanical integrity at temperatures up to 220°C and is virtually unaffected by fuels, solvents, and strong acids. Its low moisture absorption and high dimensional stability make it a viable alternative to aluminum for lightweight jigs, fixtures, and end-use automotive parts.
