Carbon Fiber PPA

FDM

Carbon fiber reinforced PPA is a high-performance 3D printable thermoplastic combining excellent stiffness, heat resistance, and chemical stability, ideal for durable functional parts.

About

Carbon fiber reinforced PPA (Polyphthalamide) is a high-performance thermoplastic designed for demanding 3D printing applications. By integrating carbon fibers, the material achieves significantly enhanced stiffness, dimensional stability, and mechanical strength while maintaining the inherent chemical and heat resistance of PPA. It performs well in continuous service temperatures up to 200–220 °C and resists exposure to fuels, oils, and industrial chemicals. This combination makes it ideal for automotive, aerospace, industrial machinery, and electrical components, particularly for structural, load-bearing, and high-temperature functional parts. Carbon fiber reinforcement also reduces warping and improves surface flatness, making printed parts more reliable and precise for functional applications.
