Material

BASF® Ultrafuse 316L Steel

Ultrafuse 316L produces sintered 316L stainless steel parts with high ductility and corrosion resistance, similar in strength to annealed wrought 316L, though with lower yield strength than laser-melted 316L.

About

Ultrafuse 316L is a sintered 316L stainless steel, non-magnetic. Its strength is close to annealed wrought 316L with high ductility, but its yield strength is about half that of laser-melted 316L.

Ultrafuse 316L is a good option for corrosion-resistant functional parts, tooling, jigs, and fixtures.
