About

420/BR steel is a bronze-infused stainless steel that arguably offers the best all-around metal performance for the most budget-friendly price. Highly robust and durable, it is ideal for a wide range of applications, including functional components, custom jewelry, and intricate sculptures.

The material is produced using a precise multi-step Metal Binder Jetting process. First, the stainless steel powder is inkjet-printed layer-by-layer using a liquid binder. The part is then placed in a high-temperature furnace where it is sintered to fuse the steel together, while being infused with molten bronze to fill any remaining pores. The final component is a solid, resilient composite consisting of 60% stainless steel and 40% bronze.
