Titanium Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V)

CNC

High-strength titanium alloy with excellent corrosion resistance and low weight. Used in aerospace, medical, and high-performance mechanical components.

About

Titanium Ti-6Al-4V, also known as Grade 5, is an alpha-beta titanium alloy composed of approximately 90% titanium, 6% aluminum, and 4% vanadium. It offers an exceptional combination of high strength, low weight, and outstanding corrosion resistance – even in saltwater and aggressive chemical environments. This alloy is heat-treatable and exhibits excellent fatigue performance and dimensional stability under load. While more difficult to machine than aluminum or steel, it is the most commonly used titanium alloy in aerospace, motorsports, medical implants, and high-performance industrial applications requiring a superior strength-to-weight ratio and biocompatibility.
