Acrylic (PMMA)

CNC

CNC-milled acrylic offers high clarity, smooth edges, and a glass-like finish. Ideal for displays, covers, and enclosures, it’s precise, weather-resistant, and suited for low-impact uses.

About

CNC-milled acrylic (PMMA) is a rigid, transparent thermoplastic known for its excellent optical clarity and smooth surface finish. It is commonly used as a lightweight alternative to glass in applications where transparency, durability, and precision are required. Acrylic machines cleanly, allowing for sharp edges, fine details, and polished surfaces. After milling, parts can be flame polished or buffed to restore optical clarity on edges and faces, though even the standard finish offers a smooth, clean look. Available in clear, tinted, or opaque colors, CNC-milled acrylic is ideal for display components, covers, light guides, and enclosures. It offers good weather resistance and dimensional stability but is more brittle than other plastics, making it better suited for low-impact applications. Its crisp appearance and ease of fabrication make it popular in signage, architecture, and consumer products.
